On Monday, March 17, former Hagerstown Junior-Senior High School standouts Collin Beaty and Reed Shaffer’s current college team, the Franklin Grizzlies, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Alma Scots.

The game took place at John P. McDowell Field. This was their second matchup against the Scots this season.

The Grizzlies’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 12 p.m. at John P. McDowell Field against Hanover Panthers.
