Baylee Wissler Newest Signee For Women's Golf
Baylee Wissler won't be traveling far for college.
The Richmond native is the latest women's golf signee for head coach Billy Mullins in his 2023-24 class.
"I'm really excited that Baylee decided to stay home and be a Red Wolf," Mullins said. "During her time at Northeastern, she has been very successful in the classroom, on the golf course, and on the softball field. She has a good golf swing and I am excited to see how she progresses as she will solely focus on golf."
Baylee was a 4-year varsity golf MVP. She was named to the All-Conference and All-Region team three times. She also was the 2021 and 2022 Wayne County Individual Champion.
"I chose IU East because it felt like and was home to me," Wissler said in her biography form.
Baylee plans on studying Nursing.
"Being a local kid she already has a relationship with our players. This is a perfect fit for her and us," Mullins said.
