Women's Basketball: Oakland City At IU East Preview
The Indiana University East women's basketball team is looking for its third win a row as the Red Wolves welcome Oakland City University to Lingle Court on Tuesday, Nov. 29.
The River States Conference affair with the Mighty Oaks begins at 5:30 p.m.
IU East is now 2-6 overall and 2-0 in the league. The Red Wolves are coming off a 68-66 victory over St. Mary-of-the-Woods College on Saturday, Nov. 19.
Oakland City is also 2-0 in the RSC with an overall mark of 7-2. The Mighty Oaks have won three straight including a 74-62 victory at the University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy in St. Louis on Nov. 22.

General admission for IU East basketball is $7. IU East students, faculty and staff are admitted free with their university ID.

* IU East and the Mighty Oaks are even at one victory apiece in the all-time series. Oakland City won a non-conference 94-82 decision over the Red Wolves earlier this season during the First Bank Richmond Tournament on Lingle Court.
* The Red Wolves defeated Oakland City 95-88 at home last season in the first meeting between the two schools.
* Addie Brown topped IU East against Oakland City on Nov. 5, while Davina Smith tossed in 14.
* Kennedy Griffin led the Red Wolves with 22 points in the win over St. Mary-of-the-Woods.
* Emilee Hope led Oakland City with 19 points as all five starters for the Mighty Oaks scored in double figures against IU East in the first contest this fall.
