Quaker women's hoops falls to Harriers
The Earlham College women's basketball team fell to Miami University Hamilton 62-41 in Druley Performance Gym on Wednesday afternoon.
Amari Bradford led the offense with 13 points and a 50% field goal percentage. Neely Trenshaw, Jay Bright, and Bailey Gibson led the team in rebounds with five each.
The Quaker offense struggled early, and only mustered 12 points in the first half. The total nearly doubled in the third quarter, with 11 points for the home squad. EC finally found a rhythm in the final frame, going 7-for-16 and scoring 18 points.
Earlham will take the fall break, and be back in action on Wednesday next week against Kenyon. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 pm in Druley Performance Gym.
