Men's Basketball: SMWC At IU East Preview
The Indiana University East men's basketball team is back in action at home against River States Conference foe St. Mary-of-the-Woods College on Saturday, Nov. 19.
The first annual Kingston Sanders Memorial Game on Lingle Court begins at 3 p.m.
IU East is 2-3 overall and 0-1 in the conference after a 84-77 loss at IU Kokomo earlier this week.
St. Mary-of-the-Woods is 3-1 as the Pomeroys are coming off an 81-76 victory at Miami University-Hamilton on Tuesday, Nov. 15. Saturday's game is the RSC opener for SMWC.

General admission for IU East basketball is $7. IU East students, faculty and staff are admitted free with their university ID.

YOU OUGHT TO KNOW
* The Red Wolves defeated the Pomeroys 113-64 on Lingle Court last season in the only meeting between the two squads.
* Colt Meyer scored a season-high 16 points last year against SMWC, while Jamisen Smith finished with 15 points.
* Jake Johnson led IU East at IU Kokomo with 16 points, while Tobey Billups added 15 points and five assists.
* This is the second year in the RSC for SMWC. The Pomeroys finished 3-26, 0-18 in 2021-22.
