Cross Country: Iu East At Nike Xc Town Twilight Preview
The Indiana University East cross country teams are headed to the Nike XC Town Twilight in Terre Haute on Friday, Sept. 30.
The men's 8K race on the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course gets underway at 8 p.m. The women's 6K event is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m.
This is the second meet of the fall for the Red Wolves, who competed at the IU Kokomo Invitational on Sept. 17.

The LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course is located at 599 S. Tabortown St., Terre Haute, IN 47803.

YOU OUGHT TO KNOW
* The IU East men's team finished second at the IU Kokomo Invitational. Goshen College and IU East both had 33 points, but the Maple Leafs won the event thanks to the tiebreaker.
* Tucker Burris was third at IUK with a 26:57.82 that put him in third. Others in the top ten were Chance Klipstine (fourth) ; Wyatt Beck (seventh), Teagen Rodriguez (ninth) and Mylan Nocton (10th).
* The IU East women's team was third in Kokomo behind Goshen and the host squad.
* Savannah Hart led the Red Wolves in Kokomo with a time of 20:49.55 to finish sixth. Hannah Best was 10th place.
