Tennis: Iu East Players Honored By Ita
Five Indiana University East tennis players earned spots on the 2021-22 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar-Athlete teams.
Both IU East squads also made the ITA All-Academic Team list, as the Red Wolves reached the team grade point average of 3.2 or above. The Red Wolves were among the 40 women's teams honored with 30 men's programs achieving the standard.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, a player must have a GPA of at least 3.5 for the academic year.
The IU East women's tennis ITA Scholar-Athletes are:
* Laura Billing
* Linda Marino
* Sophie Wilkinson
The IU East men's tennis ITA Scholar-Athletes are:
* Moises Goncalves
* Matthew Nel
