WOMEN'S SOCCER SIGNEE: KYLIE BUNKER FROM BELLBROOK, OHIO
Kylie Bunker of Bellbrook (Ohio) High School has signed a letter of intent to play women's soccer at Indiana University East starting with the 2022 season.
Red Wolves coach Shane Meridith made the announcement on July 6.
"Kylie's deceptive speed and strength will catch opposing defenses off guard," said Shawn Pence, who is the head coach of the TempesT Football Club. "Her ability to shoot and attack the goal, from either her left or right side, has played a huge role in her success."
Kylie is the daughter of Amy Bunker and Gary Day.
"It was fun when I visited and it felt like home right away," Bunker said of her decision to play for the Red Wolves.
Bunker is another member of the 2022 IU East women's soccer recruiting class to be announced this spring.
IU East is an NAIA program. The Red Wolves have won the River States Conference Tournament twice and as a result reached the NAIA National Championships in 2019 and 2020-21.
