Census Bureau: More men than women in Portland in 2020

Of the 5,972 people living in Portland in 2020, 47.8 percent (2,856) were women and 52.2 percent (3,116) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the EC Indiana News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 356. In the 65 and over age range, there were 608 females and 383 males.
