A field of nine teams is expected for the Indiana University East women's golf program's Spring Invitational on April 15 and April 16 at Forest Hills Country Club.
Play is scheduled to begin with a 10 a.m. shotgun start on both days of the 36-hole event.

YOU OUGHT TO KNOW
* IU East is hosting an event at Forest Hills for the second time. The Red Wolves finished sixth at their own 2021 Forest Hills event with a 36-hole team score of 703.
* This is IU East's last event before the River States Conference Championships starting April 25.
* Aquinas, Fisk, Indiana Tech and Wittenberg plus River States Conference programs Rio Grande, Oakland City, IU Kokomo and Brescia are expected to join IU East in this event.
* IU East posted the best 18-hole spring score in program history in its most recent round. The Red Wolves posted a 315 in the final round of the Midway University Eagle Invitational on April 5. IU East placed fifth at the event with a 36-hole team score of 648. The only teams that finished ahead of IU East were ranked in the Top 35 in the NAIA Women's Golf Coaches Poll.
* IU East enters this event with an 18-hole spring average of 335.83. Jo Wisecup leads the Red Wolves with an 18-hole spring average of 79.50.
