Indiana University-East recently issued the following announcement.
The Indiana University East tennis teams are scheduled to visit Marian University on April 6.
Match time is scheduled for 2 p.m. in Indianapolis.
FOLLOW THE MATCH
Marian University is located at 3200 Cold Spring Road in Indianapolis.
Marian's tennis courts are located between the football stadium and softball diamond on the west side of the campus.
YOU OUGHT TO KNOW
* The IU East men are 6-8 and the Red Wolf women are 5-7. Both IU East teams are riding three-match winning streaks.
* The No. 30-ranked Marian men are 12-9-1 and the No. 27 Knight women are 15-8. Both IU East teams seek their first wins against Marian.
* IU East's Moises Goncalves is the reigning River States Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week. Linda Marino is the reigning RSC Women's Tennis Player of the Week. Both players went 2-0 in both singles and doubles in IU East's victories this past weekend.
* Goncalves has six spring singles wins for the IU East men.
* Amonette Theron has four spring singles wins for the IU East women.
