Graduates earn 229 degrees from Earlham College

About 15.3 percent of the 229 degrees and certificates handed out by Earlham College in 2017-18 were to students in biological and biomedical sciences programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Richmond conferred 35 bachelor's degrees in biological and biomedical sciences programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general business administration and management. Data shows the school gave out 19 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management, followed by 17 bachelor's degrees in general biology/biological sciences and 17 bachelor's degrees in general psychology.

The college enrolled 1,104 students for 2017-18, including 1,050 in undergraduate programs and 54 in graduate programs.
