65 percent of applicants to Earlham College were admitted for fall 2018

At Earlham College, 99 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 54 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Richmond enrolled 1,104 students in fall 2018, including 1,050 in undergraduate and 54 in graduate programs, data shows. 1.6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

19 percent of undergraduates are residents of Indiana, and 60 percent are residents of other states. 21 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (51 percent) and Black or African American (8 percent).

The school admitted 65 percent of the 2,119 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 20 percent enrolled.
