Morrisson-Reeves Library issued the following announcement on Mar 11.
We are aware of the recent concerns regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in public spaces and would like to share with you how we are addressing this issue in our library:
- Elevated cleaning measures throughout the building including but not limited to these frequently touched surfaces: computer stations, keyboards, public service desks, seating areas, restrooms and play areas.
- As in current practice, we will continue to clean the covers of all library materials as they are returned to the library
- Reminders for staff and patrons of proper hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette
- Covering coughs and sneezes with something other than your hand
- Washing hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
- Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth
- Staff are encouraged to stay home if they are ill or have a fever
MRL is following the guidelines set out by the Indiana Department of Health and the CDC.
