City of Berne issued the following announcement on Feb 28.
The City of Berne will be having our spring heavy trash pickup the week of April 20th .
Place items curbside the morning of your regular pickup day. Items allowed include mattresses, refrigerators, sofas, window unit air conditioners etc.
No E-waste or hazardous material is allowed including but not limited to tires, TV’s, computers, paint and treated lumber. For more information on E-waste, visit the Adams County Solid Waste site.
Just a reminder, the dumpsters at the city garage are monitored with cameras and fines of $500.00 will be assessed to offenders.
