Men's Basketball: Midway at IU East Preview

The Indiana University East men's basketball team finishes the regular season against Midway University as the Red Wolves celebrate Senior Day on Saturday, Feb. 18.

The River States Conference contest on Lingle Court is scheduled to get underway at 3 p.m.

Seniors Bryce Long and Jamisen Smith will be recognized for their contributions to the IU East program.

IU East is 14-13 overall and 8-9 in the RSC after the Red Wolves fell 86-59 at IU Southeast on Tuesday, Feb. 14.

The Eagles are 16-10 overall with an 11-6 record in the league. Midway also lost to IU Southeast 87-69 on Thursday, Feb. 16.

General admission for IU East basketball is $7. IU East students, faculty and staff are admitted free with their university ID.

The GPS address for Lingle Court is 2325 Chester Boulevard in Richmond.

YOU OUGHT TO KNOW

* IU East is 5-2 against Midway in the all-time series. Colt Meyer led IU East with 10 points as the Eagles beat IU East 59-55 earlier this season in Kentucky.

* Meyer also topped IU East earlier this week with 15 points at IU Southeast. Sekou Miaga finished with 14 points and 13 rebounds.

* Donnie Miller led Midway with 12 points in the earlier contest this season against IU East.

* Miller finished with 23 points in Midway's loss to IU Southeast on Thursday.
