If you love nature, “forest bathing,” birding, or just want to try out nature writing, this is the workshop for you! Join Travis Poling as he discusses the craft of writing about nature and leads participants through writing exercises. This workshop will take place at Cope Environmental Center, and Naturalist Stephanie McCurdy will be available for nature exploration tips.
Travis Poling is a poet and photographer whose work focuses closely on the natural world. He teaches writing and religious studies to college students.
This workshop is part of the One State/One Story: World of Wonders initiative designed by Indiana Humanities, in partnership with the Indiana State Library and Indiana Center for the Book. One State/One Story encourages Hoosiers to read and engage deeply with a book as part of a statewide conversation tied to Indiana Humanities’ current theme.
This program will have a limit on the number of participants and will follow all current Covid protocols. Please register for this free workshop. Please register through this link: eventactions.com…
